Captain Enriko in his turn is not the owner of a pub, of a watch, not even of a cuckoo.
"Captain Enrico's watch" it's a classic film of Riga Film Studio, after which a new bar on the corner of Antonijas & Dzirnavu streets was named. Next year this movie will celebrate it's 40th anniversary, but as turned out, Latvian cinematographic values like "The Theatre", "The Devil's Servants", "At the Rich Madam's Place" do not rust! Children of that time gave birth to their own children, that also watch movies.
It's not known for certain what had become the source of inspiration for the film "Captain Enrico's watch" real events of post-war Riga or a wish to show youth spy story with the patriotism of those days.
